As you know that climbing rope is the most important part of rock climbing. The cheap climbing rope can be easy to afford in terms of price but when you trust the rope with your life, you have to be very cautious. Price doesn’t matter anything in comparison to security.
Besides security, there is another factor attached to cheap climbing rope and that is the life of the product. When you buy a cheap climbing rope, it definitely doesn’t last for long. On the other hand a good product has a long life. This rope has the quality of not getting wet in ice due its perfect plastic coating. Dry ropes are at times cheap as well but you need to be cautious whether to use the same or not in a risky ice or glacier climbing. This plastic coating technique is known as hydrophobic technique and it’s very popular among the ice climbing lovers. It’s also famous for lubrication element which doesn’t hurt the hand of the person using it.
Rock Climbing is not only active for professional but is also very popular as a hobby. I believe cheap climbing rope can risk you life if you use it just for the sake of hobby, life is more important and good quality rope can save it to some extent and the rest is obviously you training and expertise in the same.
